15th-18th May: Molecular cloning workshop housed by VetMedZg
From 15th to 18th of May, 8 students from different East and Central European countries participated in a workshop about genomics, organized during the French-speaking countries festival by AUF (Agence Universitaire Francophone). Workshop was housed in VetMedZg laboratory. Students were initiated in molecular cloning, combining a fluorescent gene into a bacterial strain of Escherichia coli. As a results, students realized some Petri dish art using those modified bacteria and presented their work during the final conference of this festival in Zagreb.
